Pay off a large balance

A customized payoff (amortization) plan for a credit card with a large balance is created with the amortization feature in A Real Budget. The payoff plan can be based on your choice of:

• a monthly payment amount, or
• how many payments you choose to make.

There are two restrictions on this feature. A credit card:

• that is being used to pay at least one bill cannot be amortized, and
• cannot be used while it is being amortized.
