Initialize unallocated balance

• Get the current available balance in the Budget Space's checking account (after withdrawing your startup allowance).
• Click on the checking account button at the bottom of the screen to open the "Checking Account" slider.
• Click on "Enter "Other" Deposit" to display the "Deposit" dialog box.
• Enter the current available balance in the "Amount" textbox.
• Click on the "OK" button.

The amount of the deposit will show in the "Unallocated balance" row of your Budget and as the "Available balance" on the "Checking Account" slider.

You will no longer keep a record of transactions in the Budget Space's checking account. A Real Budget maintains the transaction register for you. If you have one, keep your old transaction record only until all of the transactions in the old record have cleared on a checking account statement.
